Veste Oberhaus

The Veste Oberhaus, which is over 800 years old, towers high above the city of Passau and is one of the largest preserved castle complexes in Europe. Within its historic walls, the Oberhausmuseum presents exhibitions on the city’s history and medieval life at the castle. The Observation Tower offers a fabulous 360° panorama, whilst the Linde Battery Viewpoint provides a unique view of the historic old town and the confluence of Passau’s three rivers: the Danube, the Inn and the Ilz.
