Family Guided Tour
“The Past Comes to Life – With You!” – A Journey Back in Time
Let’s travel back in time! More than 100 years ago, a remarkably talented painter lived not far from Veste Oberhaus: Ferdinand Wagner. Two of his paintings are still on display at the Oberhausmuseum today. Together, we will take a closer look at these works of art: Who are the people depicted? What are they wearing? What stories do the scenes tell?
Afterwards, we will step into the past ourselves and become part of a historical painting. Dressed in period costumes, children and adults alike will take on historical roles and capture the moment with a memorable photograph.
The tour offers an interactive and child-friendly introduction to the themes of the 2027 special exhibition.
